MMA is not elite combat sports next to other combat sports because of his diversities; Boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, TKD, Judo etc work on the same specificities again and again for centuries (for most of those sports)
Now look at the facts, Lesnar who has zero pro fight before entering the MMA world then he become UFC heavyweight champion in his fourth MMA fight (?), no way you will see that in another combat sports, even a very best muay thai fighter will never be boxing world champion after only 4 boxing bouts, like a BBJ fighter will not become olympic champion in Judo in his first year in judo
Than look at Alvarez losing to McGregor for a UFC belt, that dude was a joke, no boxing or "standing" defenses and zero smartness, didn't try to put McQuitter to the ground even knowing that the irish is a big puncher with a very long reach, the same with Jose Aldo,you will never see that type of ******ity in high level in another combat sports, but off course the MMA fighters are elite fighters because they are the most complete fighters in the world
