Comments Thread For: Chris Eubank Jr: This is The Beginning of That Step To The Top!

CHRIS EUBANK JNR'S career has been guided by his world champion father. But it was another British boxing icon who actually helped him get started in the ring. Eubank Snr had refused to let his then teenage son follow him into the sport until a chat with former heavyweight king Lennox Lewis changed his mind. "Around the age of 14, he finally gave in," said Eubank Jnr, ahead of his super-middleweight clash with hardened veteran Arthur Abraham at Wembley Arena tomorrow night.

I think he will. He must know at this point if he pulls out his reputation will never recover and his career may not either.

Looking on the photo in the article it saddens me to think E.U bum jr. might add Abraham to his resume ; a man that has accomplished so much more than this fraud will ever achieve in this sport, parading his fake IBO 'world-title' as a REAL former two weight champion stands next to him as the B-side.

Another pampered Brit bringing a shot veteran to manufacture credibility like Anthony Joshua did vs. Klitsckho -- disgusting. I hope to see the Abraham of old deliver another HL KO one last time.

        P.S - You suck E.U bum jr.

It is the beginning and could well be the ending although I think AA. is a well picked ideal slow opponent who's there for a reason .A name and low risk because of his age .I was hoping JR. would move on quicker than he has and although it's a move in the right direction it should no way be a PPV. fight.

Got the better of the man a month later shows he has talent?
Maybe he could have done the same with bjs as well? Eubank has all the talent to go all way. He was scared of GGG so was hesitant too sign contract but that's understandable. Must walk before running.
Get bjs first, he has potential to beat bjs if he dedicates himself

I think Eubanks will wear AA down in the second half of the fight but it proves nothing.

Eubanks is not world class, he is that interim type level, one layer below the elite guys.

He only looks good against flat footed, face first fighters, and that will change it he steps up.

                  He will be exposed...badly IMO

Must reiterate that eubank has potential.
If eubank dedicates himself he could one day beat bjs level type opponent.
There are levels to this. I'm not sure junior can beat the level of opponents his dad did.
But first things first. If he b**** Abraham its the first step to buryin g his loss to bjs.
