Since most already saw Pac winning the first fight he'd only need a dominant performance in the second to solidify his win. Even though Pacquiao isn't the Pacquiao of old, Horn still doesn't match up to him. I'd personally like to see Pacquiao beat him convincingly in a rematch and then retire.

The only other match I'd like to see Pacquiao in would be a Mayweather rematch. I know a lot of people are against this idea but what boxing analyst Max Kellerman has some truth in it. Mayweather has been retired for two years. He's going to beat Conor, a boxing novice with a 0-0 record, and if he decides to fight on for money and face Pac, he'd be coming in with no real boxing fights since 2015 and against a busier legit boxer.

pac hasnt been the same since the Margarito fight in 2010. Ariza got the boot in 2013 after marquez 4.

I mean I hope he pulls it off and then retires. But really, I just want him to retire. I don't want to see Manny get stopped at this point by any of these younger guys around welterweight.

The experience of watching Manny fight has not been the same for me since 2012. Because we know what could happen and we have a visceral image of it.

        Hope he retires soon.
It was a right cross. No such thing as a right hook from an orthodox stance chief

Glenn Rushton has a point, Jeff is still a developing fighter and could very well be better in a rematch.while Pac is past his peak now. The Pac fight was Horn's first at that level & regardless of the decsion, you can't deny he stepped up.

Before the first fight there was a lot of talk about how Funeka had knocked Horn down in the 3rd round of their fight and no mention of how Jeff got straight back up and TKO'd Funeka in the 6th

As we saw after the 9th in the Pac fight, this is a guy who recovers, kerps his cool and doesn't stop coming.

Anything could happen in a rematch, I'd love to see it happen.

He needs to retire and forget the rematch. Everything about his career Is complete chaos at this point. We know that Isn't going to happen and we also know that after a certain age how the likely ending will unfold.

you could be right, that's what I thought initially

no, Pac should take this fight because he definitely can win it

but this time his coach can get off his arse and actually come up with a workable gameplan and Manny should get to camp in shape

that shouldn't be a problem they know Horn now

I also believe he can beat Horn and I absolutely agree with you when It comes to Roach, he was disgraceful In the first fight.

I guess we are going to get a second fight regardless as to how we feel about whether or not he should retire.

Horn will not be better defensively. He has limited skills and will get his face beat up by 181 punches to the face once again in less then than 5 rounds. I don't think he can improve his headbutt percentage either. He should expect another thrashing and will land less than 8 punches per rd. Perhaps Horn might improve because 8 punches per round actually is not very good and he can only get better. If he believes his handlers false praise expect him to be stopped. Let's remember he ate many punches from a much smaller 39 yr old past his prime fighter who was 20 pounds lighter and almost KO'd him. Nothing to be proud of.
