This has been talked about many many times. I dont know why people think Conor, would mess up his life time opportunity, to retire and set his family up forever, by doing something that dumb. Even his promoter Dana white said Conor might not fight again! He would be making probably 10 times if not more than he has ever made, Why would he mess that up? The contract that he signed would destroy him from heaven to earth.

Conor is going to turn up like the good boy he is, take his as* whooping and laugh all the way to the bank, everyone would do the ******** same if they see the numbers in front of them.

Being choked and being punched with boxing gloves seems like two completely different things to me. I have boxed and know what that feels like, but I never participated In MMA to experience what being choked out was all about. I just gather that It Isn't pleasant.

I am pretty sure Ellerbe made sure to put in the contract that if Conor does something off the wall then he won't get paid. No one is going to throw away $100 million over pride.

It will be a DQ if conor body slams him or something intentional. Only a NC if its something unintentional, like they trip and someone springs their ankle, theres a cut before the end of the 4th (if that rules invoked) ect.

I don't watch much MMA but their must not be many tough guys In the sport If tapping out from a choke means you are not tough. Every time I have seen a fighter being choked, they tap.

I watch MMA all the time & thats incorrect. Holm is the perfect example of going down swinging in boxing & MMA (ironically she literally went out swinging in MMA when her lights got turned off as sometimes happens) cuz thats how she lost in both sports. And these final moments of this particular choke are after a period of time where Miesha Tate was on Holm's back standing & got her to the ground before getting her taken out.

And maybe the more important part of all this is typical choke usually takes awhile to setup correctly & to even get the arm under the chin. And when people do tap its usually after a 30 seconds or minutes of fighting it & eventually giving up. Granted most people do tap, but plenty of people don't & get put to sleep, but have no damage from the choke cuz its not a tap to save a limb like most taps legit tough guys would employ are, its a tap to avoid temporary pain & long term embarrassment. So its just a f#cked up situation largely that does no long term damage to you.

Conor on the otherhand has two of the quickest choke submissions I've seen in my life.


This entire fight lasted 38 seconds before Conor tapped out.


This isn't something MMA fighters typically do in this sorta way, with this sorta quickness. Conor has been called a quitter in MMA because of his quick quitting situations, its not something Floyd is pulling out of his ass & thats why Conor is legit looking unhappy during these pressers while being called a quitter. And legit tough guys don't quit in their chosen profession.

Conor is a great fighter, but he's no tough guy.

If a MMA guy gets within punching range of an elite boxer with KO power he can be KOed just like that .
