I mean Boxing has always had their "characters" out of the ring...Ricardo Mayorga types....Floyd Mayweather types....Maromero Paez types....Paulie Malignaggi types...Muhammad Ali types....etc etc.... but it has never really been a WWF type circus...scripted monologues...the heel vs the good guy as in with lines and bad deliveries....barring the crude lenguage the whole thing is very Mickey Mousey to me.....

and I don't dig it...if things are gonna pop off at the press conf I'd rather just see them come to blows like in the good'odays...

but hey maybe it's just me....after all it is a winning formula... tired and true...the WWF makes millions...these millennials seem to be eating it up... and there is something to be said for "growing the sport" and so on and so forth.... so I get it...but I don't like it

For Conor, its part of his strategy. Mental warfare is a huge part of his game.

He trashes and insults his opponent as much as he can in order to anger them so that they are more aggressive and careless when they fight. Conor loves fighting aggressive people because hes a brilliant counter puncher and has enough power in his left hand to knock Floyd unconscious through his guard. He is the best at mental warfare in all combat sports.

The fans just happen to love it.

Just wait and see. Floyd is gonna be shocked at the power. His old brain won't be able to handle it.

It has as of late. The one that took the cake was ggg being announced and coming to the ring after the canelo chavez jr trash fight. Its more and more obvious that these fights are signed and done along with diologue way before its announced.

Floyd been in the fight business 21 years. U really think that trash talk is gonna do mcgregor any good? I dont buy this ring rust, camp is tough and mcgregor never taking an l on his feet bull either. Its marketing. They need to sell this match. Especially with a $100 price tag.

I like it man. I don't like the whole 0-0 guy vs a 49-0 possible tbe but the theatrics are great. I love the way they do things in the UK with their ring walks, that's super cool Imo. It reminds me of when The King Randy Savage came to the ring being carried out on his throne. I also enjoyed Broner coming out with French Montana n***** aint worried bout nothin. It brings a whole different dynamic to sports. Pbc's ring walks r garbage. Al Haymon should consult with Vince Mcmahon. But u can take this with a grain of salt, I like the WWE.
