The brilliance and hype of the promotion makes me into a sucker that is more excited about this 'fight' or event than the more pure boxing fight of Canelo-Golovkin. Sadly, that fight will be affected but that's business and competition for you, and Showtime and Hbo, you can have your fight shown whenever you want to. And I don't know who will watch Cotto-Kamegai at all.

Honestly if Aldo came at Floyd the same way he came at Conor, even Floyd with 0 MMA experience wouldve put him to sleep.

Thing you forget is that Mayweather is defense first. Maybe he would have done his pull back. But he usually sets that up first with pawing jabs, feints, etc.

The crazy thing is that Showtime hasn't had a PPV fight since Floyd/Manny. Yet HBO has had around 10 since and this fight between Floyd and Conor might do more PPVs than all of HBOs combined.
