I mean, I don't understand you calling a fighter risking his life for our entertainment " scared". The flag is bigger than the sport and it should be respected. I am happy that Mayweather was matured enough not to do anything ****** yesterday. You can call fighters all names, "scary" is disallowed.

Another thing is we know mcgregor made his career beating opponents significantly smaller than him, draining himself to the point people referred to him as skeletor. The closest I can think of to compare these situations is floyd fighting oscar but instead of fighting an elite with actual power, speed and a size advantage like oscar at 30, mcgregor moved up and fought a featherfisted journeyman with about 10 losses at 28 and got stopped.
You should follow the sport more closely... that was with 4 oz gloves at 170 and there was a rematch...

So you think Floyd's power compares with a guy who weighs 170 with 4 oz gloves who has boxing experience?

Andre Ward has praised Nate Diaz' boxing skills... Diaz lost fights because he can't handle leg kicks period...

Floyd isn't stopping Conor period - so not sure what your point is here... I dare you to bet that Floyd stops Conor... Good luck with that bet...

The press tours are fun to watch. I wish McGregor had a real chance at this but we all know it's not going to be competitive. It's funny how Mayweather tries to build it up as if it was haha

Bizarre response, reread the post without the contrarian goggles. I wasn't making any claim that mayweather will stop mcgregor, but now that I think about it it would be a bet with good odds, conor will be a dead man walking past rd 8, and all floyd needs is to keep touching him, easing him into a quit.

The weight is a bad excuse, you didnt really address my thoughts on diaz not even being much of a 170lb'er, what is his record coming in at 170, what has he accomplished at the weight etc, like i've mentioned conor killed himself to make 145, gaining a few lbs and losing to what is basically a blown up 155lb'er is just excuses. Its similar to floyd(who was making 147 at 39) fighting oscar but again, oscar even then wasn't a featherfisted journeyman.

Yeah, reminded me of when Andre the giant was scared of Jake the snakes python, real fear that, not scripted at all.

The general public is clueless about boxing. McGregor stating he's going to KO Floyd inside 4 and that anyone who doesn't think so is crazy is enough for most people to think that McGregor will win, that's just the way people are so easily lead. The whole promotion has been about selling McGregor as a real threat.

You watch now, (fake) stories about Conor busting up and dominating real boxers in sparring will start to leak. They'll even pay some lower level pro boxers to say that Conor is a savant and hits harder than anyone in the world. A few days before the fight the odds could be close to even, then the smart money will come in on Floyd.

This gets to Floyd -130 and I am betting 13 Gs on him. Will be the easiest 10 grand anyone ever made.
