Why put Gvozdyk with Crawford and Beltran with Lomachenko? Makes no sense

Also this opponent sucks. Koelling has no opponent now that the Beterbiev fight has fallen apart so why not him?

If he struggled with Gonzales i could understand it, but he dominated him, why step down?.

Totally agreed. What is up with the career of Beterbiev? Seems to have totally stalled. LHW is absolutely loaded if only they would actually fight.

As one of the bigger fans of Beterbiev like 18 months ago I'm completely digested with how his career has progressed in that period. Apparently now he's having promoter issues with GYM & thats likely why his upcoming fight got canceled or postponed just a week or two ago.

Idk whats gonna happen with him, but he's had a year of his career lost to bs (6mos or so was lost due to an injury so fair play with that, that can happen).

At this point idk if time + inactivity have hurt Beterbiev's chances of making as big of a play in this division has he might have if given the opportunity early on & he's not even getting a real opportunity yet even with the eliminator that was being discussed & did have a date at one point. I could easily see him be another 12-18 months from any meaningful fight for a belt.

The bs with promoters & abc groups hurts careers & the caliber of competition us fans could easily be seeing on a weekly basis if this sport operated in any sort of rational manner.

mismatch. I'm really hoping Top Rank steps up and makes more meaningful matches on ESPN. That's what killed PBC on ESPN too many crap matchups and not enough competitive fights. So far the only fight on paper that seems competitive is the Crawford fight. Everything else is a showcase mismatch.

Only his 14th fight, and it's not as though anyone else is forming a line outside his door to fight him. I didn't see this much criticism from Ward fans when he was fighting Paul Smith and Alexander Brand. Besides, there is likely not enough money to go around on this ESPN card to lure in bigger names on this short notice.
