  • Comments Thread For: Arum Unsure of When and Where Pacquiao-Horn II Would Land

Based on recent comments it looks as though Manny Pacquiao, who lost his WBO welterweight belt to Jeff Horn on July 1st, will be enforcing his rematch clause. But when and where Pacquiao-Horn II takes place is uncertain for the time being.

Philippines would be the perfect spot. Then retire. But we know Manny's not gonna do that(retire that is).

These greedy f**king b*tches better not put this **** on PPV, that's all I know.

Yes you would think that the controversy of the first fight would draw more interest in theory, but it's still a shell of himself Manny Pacquiao (won't he be 39 by the time the rematch happens?), 38 years old, against Jeff Horn. If they put it on PPV it'll still do terribly. It has a built in story line that would do great on ESPN but it damn sure ain't interesting enough to where people will pay PPV money for it.

It needs to be right back on ESPN where it was for the first fight. It'll do even better viewing numbers on the rematch if they get it They can hype the story line and promote it like they did the first one, and it would do very, very well.

It being in the midst of college football season is a factor, but you can avoid that issue (like Bob said) by having it take place Saturday in Australia (and Friday night here state side).

              From other news

"Boxing promoter Bob Arum has declared Melbourne's Etihad Stadium as the likely venue for Jeff Horn's potential rematch with Manny Pacquiao."

I sure hope the New York State athletic commission took action against the female judge she was just atrocious 9 rounds to Horn... a blind person could have scored it better...

same judge who had marcus browne beating kalajdzic, blatant robbery, there is no oversight in boxing man. she has a horrendous scorecard for browne then is picked to judge in the big fight of pac vs horn.
