Conor is being used just like everyone else in this "promotion". Showtime is just going to use Conor and the UFC to sell its own fighters/PBC. Does anyone really think Haymon signed off on this without having every angle lined up to make it a sell job for his interests?

As soon as its over, Showtime will forget this thing ever happened, Conor will retire, and Showtime/PBC will have more exposure than ever.

What your saying sounds correct, but if you look at Floyd's actions throughout his career, he has not given a FK about legacy, as he admits. He cares only for $$$$$$$.

He has cherished that fake 0, because it has brought him bigger and bigger paydays.

Essentially I think that you are right though, because his ego is too big to not do everything he can to win.

It's not beyond the realm of possibilities though.

I get what your saying, but i genuinely believe we will see the most disciplined floyd performance in a while (he's always disciplined) i mean you imagine the ridicule and torment he will face (rightly so) if he loses, I think he knows defeat is not an option.

Even winning by comfy decision is not enough, for me he'll have to systematically beat up and stop/KO Mcgregor to silence the doubters which i think he will.

For $100 million Conor should care less about a fricking microphone being turned off

Thurman, Porter, Berto, Peterson, Stevenson, Degale, Jacobs have become one-fight-a-year fighters permanently. It's terrible.
It's their fault for asking for too much money.

Well precisely. Conor is bought and paid for. Now Al and Showtime will use him as a prop to sell their own product.

This Conor vs Floyd scrap is a set up fixed fight with the outcome already decided. Look for Conor to be disqualified late in the 9th or 10th for a flagrant foul on Floyd setting up a rematch for even more money. For over $100 million for Conor and $300 million for Floyd it's a nice days wages. Think of the suckers dumb enough to buy this PPV moronic puke fest???

It makes one think how the USA has survived with so many idiots and morons walking around doing nothing mooching off society, causing trouble and committing crimes and drug abuse and welfare **** and just hanging around the inner cities, and scaring the hell out of decent citizens.
