I don't know man. There are more casuals talking about this than Mayweather Pacquiao. On top of that a LARGE % of MMA fans are more like WWE prowrestling types that just go wild for things like this. The hardcore MMA population is intrigued as well.

Hype crap now but when the fights over, so many disgusted MMA fans will never watch boxing when they see a boring decision. I have to say the crowds at these pressers are much bigger than I anticipated.

McGregor really knows how to sell a fight, no doubt about that.

But its a pantomime and an embarrassment to each sport in my opinion.

But when you consider the ego of each guy and the potential payday, you can't blame them really because neither will get badly hurt in the 'fight'.

Definitely not gonna flop, it's not like the fights are on the same date or something like that. I'm starting to backtrack on what I originally thought, now thinking May-McGregor is going to break the record. There's just too many people talking about this, wherever you go you hear about it. At first I thought it wouldn't do as well as the Pacquiao fight but at the very least it's going to be as big, I think.
