I've maintained the sky is the limit on a fight like this. People think the demo is too young and that they don't have money for this. I say bull****. People have friends and can easily chip in $20 a person and order the fight. Kids drop way more money than that at the bar on a nightly basis. Why would anyone think people won't order this fight.


It's tough to say if it will beat May/Pac because we've had nothing like this before to be honest. I've read some idiotic predictions on these forums in the last couple days. Some guys actually said they are not sure if this will beat Mayweather Canelo. Those people are clueless fools. This fight is doing massive numbers. What it can be I don't know....

3 things Floyd should be emphasizing in the next few press conferences...

1. McTapout is a quitter
2. Keep asking him to bet his purse, or at least part of it
3. Boxing is miles ahead of UFC and UFC is for unskilled punks

No comebacks for at least 1 & 2. And 3 will get all of the UFC fans to buy it.

That leaves you open for counters, though...

1. Boxers aren't real fighters, you can't even speak on the matter
2. How about those 4 oz gloves, then?
3. Unskilled? MMA is Multi-skilled. Boxing is limited. Boxing is the past.

I am with you, watching the press conferences and spending the $100 Is two different things.

Why not just get together with a group of friends, grab a bunch of beer and watch the fight in a party setting. It's an excuse to get drunk, have fun and watch the circus. It's not like it's a lot of money if your watching with others.

They were literally like wrestling promos.

Ultimately, in Boxing or in MMA, the two fighter actually get to fight each other.... not play-wrestle.

I don't like UFC nor ever payed attention to Connor Mcgregor but my god the dude made me laugh like 3-4 times out loud.
The Espinoza stuff was amazing cause that Dude looks like a rat faced ****.

I don't think Floyd is really a big trash talker, he's playing the game to sell PPV only. You saw it in the after stage interview on set, he's just giving the fans what they wanna hear. He will win the fight easy but the buildup will sell all the PPV

It's impossible for this to do 2 million ppv buys. The biggest guys in 2 combat sports with ESPN promoting this fight since last year. There is also no other sports going on that will draw attention from this.

Think about this. McGregor did 1.65 million ppv buys a little less than a year ago. Add in Mayweather to that equation. It's impossible for this to just do 2 million.

This is the play right here. I have never bought a UFC PPV in my life but I'm going to a friends who loves it with a bunch of others and we are chipping in like $10 a piece and watching it.
