    It's combat sports.

Who cares about "characters" outside the ring/cage?

It's good enough between he and Floyd that they are filling up just press conferences. At first I was thinking about 2-2.5 million ppv buys, now I'm almost sure it's going to be a 3 million plus

He's funny and he's not scared to stick it to the man and convention. Definitely arrogant sod though, if he was one of your colleagues you'd hate his guts. Fun to watch on YouTube though.

He always came across as a try-hard and scripted...but hey it worked.

No. We've seen this type of character before.

He's a fake, as is Floyd.

Not interested in them or their 'fight'.

Over the top and entertaining. He's a quitter though so I don't want to hear him talk that warrior stuff.

Honestly, no, I don't. He's brash, but it's just all nonsense. If a guy can talk trash with a shred of wit or smarts, sure, I'll appreciate. But he just regurgitates the same old crap - "Oh, I'm going to **** him up" blah blah.

What was it he said this morning? "If Mayweather tries anything funny I'll elbow him in the head"? No you ****ing won't.

It MIGHT work better for me if there was some mystique about him - an arrogant SOB who has a 0 on their record, like Mayweather, who can elicit extreme emotions because he's an arrogant POS that no one has conquered. McG? It's too easy to remember Diaz coming off the couch to put down.

He's great for combat sports and what's really great is he will go out there and fight anyone and try to knock them out (as evidenced by him fighting Floyd in a different sport). He also really "get's it" as far as the business aspect of the fight game. I've been backing him since he started out and he's still going to be by far and away the face of the UFC regardless of the result in the fight vs Floyd.
