seems that parker likes to fight. he spends plenty a time in the ring. the others at the top not so much.
I agree. The vlad of even 3 years ago could have taken AJ out, but probably not going to happen at his current age.

Yeah, Ortiz is my favorite fighter, but it's hard to get excited about him when he hardly ever fights.

If these guys fought eachother instead of talking this situation could be resolved a lot quicker.
Theyre trying to push it because as soon as Fury is ready he becomes the WBA mandatory, let Ortiz rot as far as Im concerned

What you on about, Josh is fighting Klit then his IBF mandatory, he will prob unify with parker after that.

He gave him 2 fights to get fans wanting Ortiz in a world title fight, one against Scott who he was supposed to blow out early and another against David Allen who was supposed to be punch bag to make Ortiz look good neither happened and now there is no market in the UK to see Ortiz fight. On the back of those two performances hes only got himself to blame.

I seriously doubt Joshua get's stripped. The WBA is going to make exceptions to allow the rematch and then IBF defense. Ortiz camp already knows they will which is why they talking about suing the WBA. Either way Joshua has too many much bigger money fights on his table to fight Ortiz who brings nothing to the table. Unless WBA enforces it he ain't getting the fight and WBA looks like they have no plans of doing that.

I understand. But it's funny I've seen them threaten legal action but how can you threaten that 3 months in when the rules clearly state the champ has 18 months to fulfil mandatory obligations? It just makes them look ****** imo

He's already rich. Fighting Ortiz brings alot to the table. It gets rid of the best ranked contender out there and clears a yearly mandatory and gives fans the fight they want to see. If getting more money is his only concern he will fall. He will get plenty for fighting his mandos and like I already said, he's already rich there's only so much money one person needs. He won't be fighting Ortiz for free

I like Joshua, I just know he's beeing mismanaged. He shouldn't do the new millennium thing he should do the 80's Tyson thing, fight every 3 or 4 months to clear all threats and contenders with the exceptions of wilder, that guy won't fight him cause he only fights bums

Not just money which Ortiz does NOT bring to the table but NOBODY is calling for this fight but a handful of Ortiz family members. Be serious there is almost a half dozen names fans are calling for instead of this fight. Klitch, Wilder, Fury, Parker just off the top of head. This fight won't be mandated in the first place that's Ortiz's beef with WBA he knows they will give him exceptions to make other fights that take priority over Ortiz. So no Ortiz doesn't bring a lot to the table. He actually brings nothing he's an inactive 40 year old who's promoter is a headache to deal with. A win over any of those guys I mentioned do more for his wallet and resume then Ortiz does who hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn in 2 years (Jennings). He's wasted 2 years with promoter issues and lost all the buzz/momentum he had from that win and is a proven drug cheater. Has fought nothing but bums before or since Jennings. Joshua beats him and fans will say so what he's 40 already been popped for PEDs and a resume full of tomato cans. Ortiz was a boogeyman 2 years ago but drama outside the ring and lackluster performances has him almost irrelevant today.
