You can never trust what comes out of a boxer's training camp. We've heard Floyd struggled sparring in previous camps at the start, it means little. Mayweather needs to survive 2 rounds and then the fight is over, I suspect he will go to the body in the 1st two rounds and mostly play defense. Conor will be done after that and Mayweather will pick him apart and stop him inside of 8.

The one thing UFC does not have is body work like boxing does. Most big fights are decided by body work early. While MMA fighters do work the body some, it's not the same typoe of sustained attack that is designed to pay off in later rounds. While I'm sure MMA fighters train to take body punches, they don't do it like boxers as they don't need to.

I'll have to take your word for it since I don't watch UFC. But that logic Makes sense. Also, what is the length of time on a UFC fight? It has to be shorter than boxing. I know there's less rounds. So with your logic, would McGregor be used to even training for a 12 round fight with 1 minute breaks?

I think this is more about "It's my last fight, come buy it!!" than anything else.

Floyd's getting older, but if there's any fighter who's made for fighting longer it's Floyd.

He's avoided the most punishment possible in his career and his entire style is based on technique, not necessarily athleticism.

Al haymon helps mayweather get the biggest paydays in boxing history! While manny is getting man handled by dirty aussia bums because arum has no loyalty or shame! Manny deserves the same type of treatment mayweather gets from haymon.... Floyd fan or manny fan these legends have done wayyyyyy more than most boxer ever do for fans..... Agreed, Pac is one of the biggest and most exciting name in boxing in the last decade and has only made a fraction of what he's should have. Sadly Pac has had plenty of chances to get out from under Arum and TR but he's too loyal for his own good.

You only got to watch him training to see its not there anymore, its labored without the spark, still enough to beat Connor but he doesn't want to do it any more that's plan to see, to train at the level he does over such a long time is bound to make for wear and tear on the body, very hard to train at his extreme level as an older man with the riches he has, I would have liked him just to stay retired.
