Los Angeles - Five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26 KOs) has no intention of fighting beyond next month, when he snaps a two-year retirement. On Tuesday, Mayweather had a meeting with his adviser, Al Haymon, and informed his long-time business associate that the upcoming pay-per-view fight was the final ring appearance of his professional career.

Al haymon helps mayweather get the biggest paydays in boxing history! While manny is getting man handled by dirty aussia bums because arum has no loyalty or shame! Manny deserves the same type of treatment mayweather gets from haymon.... Floyd fan or manny fan these legends have done wayyyyyy more than most boxer ever do for fans..... Arum should be barred fro boxing for the way he continues to rob his biggest stars.... Manny should be making 32 million for fights like vargas also if mayweather makes $32 million for berto!

It will be tougher - Floyds 40 and been out of the ring for close to two years. That said I believe it's likely he's only saying that he's struggling for the purpose of adding intrigue to the upcoming fight. How often in normal circumstances do fighters say a camp is harder than usual? Vegas wants to clean up on this one, so the more people who think McGregor has a chance, the better.

It won't be a mismatch. It will be a circus.

Floyd's forgotten more about boxing than McGregs ever knew. He's playing this up, it's theater.

I believe him that he may really call it after this one. He found the one fight that will be even easier than Berto and do the kind of numbers him and Manny did together so he had to take it.

I think it's sinking in with McGregs that he's in over his head agreeing to do a boxing match. He's not going to be able to do anything he wants to do.

Some MMA fighters adding commentary to this press tour has been pretty funny. Some of them just can't let themselves see the reality of the situation.

It will be the boxing version of James Toney vs. Randy Couture. And if it's not, then well.... maybe that's why Floyd is saying all of this stuff now.

Felon Floyd proved himself in the ring as a champion of note

Mini felon Floyd has done it all in boxing and all in beating woman and going to prison and turning off most of America and being reviled and hated as a woman beating felon midget. Take the money and run Felon Floyd as a tupac end awaits.

Floyd and Conor probably aren't bad guys, they just play that role to hype their fights more. Hopefully an entertaining fight at the end of august, and Mayweather rides off into the sunset with 50-0 and that is it. If MCGregor does the unthinkable then well, that would be a shocker. These guys know how to promote, and it will sell very well.
