Here is the clearest way to look at something like this. If large numbers of a group find something offensive, it is offensive. If the masses of a group find something to be a racial slur, then it is a racial slur. That's what you go by.

This is one of those times it is hard to determine intent. It was not hard to determine intent when Don Imus on his radio station called a women's basketball team "Nappy headed Ho's". That was categorically both offensive and racist and I was quite happy to see Don Imus finally lose his job over that.

And there are examples that are clearly racist, even from boxers like Kovalev and Broner. I'm not going to get into a debate about those two. What I would rather see people here do is say something nice about someone who is not your race and color.

I'm not black but I will not tolerate someone here using the N word with intent or insulting blacks in a very derogatory way. Racism is not tolerated. I was raised in a ****** and had close friends who were black and enjoyed soul food and their culture, their plight, their contribution to sports, music, the movies, many things.

Same with other cultures! I adore many things about my experience with Mexicans. Two places I lived at, the first day we moved in, the Mexican family next door brought us a huge plate of great food and showed their hospitality to us. I'll never forget that. They are beautiful people.

Find something positive or some positive things to say and like about another culture - even if it ***ing kills you! But back to McGregor, not enough for me to say one way or the other but if he ever makes a non-disputable comment, then people will refer back to what he said.
