Just give them both mics and let them talk. That's what makes the press conferences great.

This old fashioned boxing style press conference is terrible and boring. The format just sucks. It's the promoters talking for 25 minutes and thanking everybody and then the fighters speak for 10 minutes. They just need to be able to talk back and forth with each other.

What they should also incorporate, as they do in the UFC, is a Q & A with the audience and the media members. Let the media ask the fighters questions. Then let some of the audience members ask questions as well.
