It's not the 10 oz gloves brah. It's the restriction Floyd put to a non experienced boxer with zero professional fights, that he can't wear no horse hair gloves. That's the issue here.

Why do you think Floyd doesn't want him to wear that. Since it doesn't look good on McGregor? Or to gain an advantage??

True, but it can also be double bladed. Mcgregor only has a punchers chance. Now Floyd took it away, by not letting him wear his only chance of landing that lucky punch with punchers gloves, thus without that it's now a cake walk for Floyd.

Maidana first fight with Floyd. he had to say it was no problem to wear pillow gloves and it cost him the close fight, the same way McGregor saying no problem to wearing 10 oz NO horse hair gloves. When if he had the gloves of choice. He could have knocked out Floyd with Cleto Reyes on. That's what is lost in translation here.

That bothered Floyd and then dictated that Maidana wears whatever he wears, then again in the rematch.

McGregor just brought it up in the video. Floyd is forcing him to wear no mexican horse hair gloves. That's the issue here.

The fact that it's important to Floyd means it's to take away all the remaining advantage McGregor has. Which was only the punchers chance.

Now it's out the window. No chance in hell.
