Fury DESTROYED Wladimir Klitschko in and outside the boxing ring - EASY WORK. Fury also smashed Wlad's unbeaten 10+ year record.

Wilder has never been in a REAL FIGHT - that's why Tyson '2Fast' Fury will give him that WORK and win - if/when that battle happens.

Anthony Joshua is a bum ass manufactured fighter.
Tyson Fury has enough trouble rolling out of bed and taking a shower, he stinks!

Say the offer is 1.5 which is probably high but fair, he is going to get like 500 to 750k (that figure will be the same now or later) to fight Wilder so he isn't going to make that much more to wait. If Whyte happens to win Stiverne is going to have to wait longer because they will at least try to line up a unification, if Wilder wins the same thing really. It is asking to be left out in the cold, Stiverne has wanted the and thinks he can win. If he wins that fight it is Stiverne looking at a big money unification fight. Now is basically the best time he can force the fight to go down so unless he is getting insane money to walk then he pretty much shouldn't especially since he likes his chances in the rematch.

Sure he could bank an extra million plus but King will get a cut so is it really worth it to wait and perhaps have to wait a long while.
Agreed it makes no sense financially for Stiverne to step aside if he genuinely believes he can beat Wilder which I feel he must believe he can in fact defeat, it'll be telling if he accepts step aside and wait in line money, he'll basisally shelving himself for 18-24 months.

Fists of Fluff Furry is irrelevant, I don't understand why people keep bringing him up.

          Where you getting $4M-$5M from?

Seems to me if you got a situation where you got a title shot within 90(?) days or whatever & you wanna get paid for a step aside anything that gives you at least a title fight caliber fight purse (probably 800k or better for Bermane) + doesn't push your title opportunity more than 6 months is a +EV move. And he can still throw in some small whatever keep busy fight for $25k-$50k in there probably to to insure he makes some more money.

Granted with Bermane's age I could see him requiring more money than just "title shot money", but $4M+ seems like a very high step aside fee to get. $1.5M-$2M seems much more reasonable & if he can get a title shot in the first quarter of next year its just free money for him.
