There's not even a tax lien currently against Floyd, let alone the IRS chasing Floyd down for anything.
Floyd's accountant filed a petition to delay the payment of Floyd's taxes left over from 2015, with it being openly stated in the document that Floyd has assets and cash/cash alternatives on hand to pay the bill with. Floyd's not in financial trouble.
Manny Pacquiao owes the equivalent of $75m, with a tax lien of basically $80m against his property, and is only not recently talking about finding a way to settle what he owes. Pacquiao actually is in financial trouble.
Floyd has made it clear; his number is $100m guaranteed, otherwise he has no interest in ever stepping into the gym to prepare for a fight ever again. The McGregor fight is going to put Floyd's number into his pocket, at least; Mayweather-Alvarez 2, assuming that Canelo beats Golovkin, is the only other fight currently out there that I see able of getting Floyd his money, and bad blood likely kills that.
Manny Pacquiao just went to fight in Australia, against an Australian fighter, for likely less than even $20m, and would be looking for another $10m-$20m fight, even after looking terrible, if the scores had gone his way.
Let that sink in for a moment
