Listening to Jake Donovan on the Morning Punch In show & he brought up some info about the WBSS.

Apparently the quarterfinals will run weekly from Sept. 9 through Oct. 28.

Smith vs Skoglund will be fighting Sept. 16

Groves vs Cox will be fighting Oct. 14

Donovan quoted Schaefer as saying all fighters will be making career high paydays out of the gate.

And there will be win bonuses of $1M in the quarterfinals, $1.25M or $1.5M in the semifinals & $2M in finals.

And Donovan confirmed that the winner will get about $10M.

It'll be on the same day, but It'll be in the UK so earlier in the day (or later at night for Canelo vs GGG) so not reallllllly competing. Just a long boxing day for boxing fans.
