Now Talking about 130 pounds Machado, u really think Lomachenko can beat Machado?? Lomachenko might be more skilled but Machado is 5"11 with a REALLY REALLY powerful punch, i dont really think Loma will want to face Machado or any of the others champs neither.
About Verdejo I KNOW he will beat Flanagan and with more experience and age he will beat Mikey or Linares.
IMO if they fought right now, yeah I would definitely pick Loma over Machado.
Machado is coming along nicely. We have to see how he progresses and how he looks as he steps up his competition. Let's see how he looks once he gets past certain opponents and is ranked in the top 10 or 5 at 130. At that point better analysis can be made. I mean, I'm rooting for the kid. So far, so good for him, he's doing what he has to do with the guys they are putting him in the ring with.
Machado is actually in Hollywood, CA with Roach and Cotto training. Good experience and good for Machado that Cotto is his promoter.
I wish I was as optimistic as you were regarding Verdejo. I'm not really worried about Flanagan, but Garcia is a whole different animal.
Verdejo has been looking mediocre lately. I need to see vast improvement in him against quality competition consistently to get my hopes up again on Verdejo.Comment

Tank is at 130. Is he planning to move up to 135 already?
130 is another division that's stacked with Lomachenko, Berchelt, Tank Davis, etc...
I'm wondering who is going to be the guy who carries the torch from Cotto.
Verdejo hasn't been consistent and looks shakey, Alberto Machado looks good but damn he has to compete in the stacked 130 division with guys like Lomachenko and Davis, tough order.
There's an 18 year old prospect I'm keeping an eye on. Joseph "Blessed Hands" Adorno. Perhaps he might be the guy. Somebody has to step up eventually and carry the torch.Comment

You probably heard Robert Garcia talk about Adorno on a video. They discovered the kid and at 17 last year he signed with your favorite promo company Top Prank. LolComment

haha yeah now i remember robert talking about that to elie i think! Tank vs Berchelt and Tank vs Bandido i wanna see both! i think Maywather was trying to build tanks mexican fan base with the salido fight! but he is injured so that wont happen this time!Comment

They should just get Tank a showcase fight on Mayweather's undercard. Tank gets a highlight reel KO then for the late fall he can fight a big name or name fighter.Comment

tank is so brutal he got a highlight reel on pedraza and walsh back to back! Even eddie hearn admitted he was shocked how tank rag dolled walsh! He said walsh is not some bum! So i think he needs a mid level opponent if he cant get a big name! He is too good to fight a tomato can like verdajo does all the time!Comment

Willy Monroe won the Boxinco tournament on ESPN if I'm not mistaken?. Verdajo & Flanagan will be a good fight.Comment

You're not kidding. Machado does have a really big punch. I was just watching some highlights of Machado and saw a few one punch KO's Tommy Hearns style, Lol. That's why they call this kid El Explosivo.
Looking forward to seeing how these prospects grow.
Check out Joseph "Blessed Hands" Adorno, 18 year old kid. He's got some pop. He just started his career, I'll be keeping an eye on him. He has 4 fights, all 4 ending in 1st round KO. He has a really good amateur record. Hopefully one of these dudes will take the torch and carry on the tradition.Comment
