"Entering that tournament is definitely an option that we will look into after the Arthur Abraham fight."

    Who are the alternates?

The earmuffs should leave AA open to the uppercut as well which eubank obviously loves to throw.
I think it's a mistake to get greedy and look for the stoppage though, Abraham past his best but will still carry that concussive power and is durable enough.
Given Eubanks lack of power it would take a serious accumulation of punches to stop the fight and not worth risking a Jermaine Taylor type sting in the tail.

The Eubank's already have reputation of being hard to work with, if they did something like pulling out of the tournament at any stage, then that reputation falls even further. No one is going to make fights with them.

Yeah, alarm bells ringing there for sure. Very non committal and unenthusiastic comment. I hope he has a credible opponent lined up if he swerves this.
I hope the public eventually force him and bjs to have a rematch like two big mouth schoolkids reluctantly forced to fight after school by peer pressure.

Especially after Sr made the pick. Hopefully injury is the only thing that prevents him from entering the tournament although a BJS match up does sound nice.

All the Boxers I have faith in just quit, duck & melt. I'd be so disappointed if he didn't enter this. Hopefully this is a old interview.

I thought the same thing. When it comes to the Eubank's, it's a case of i'll believe it when i see it.

Surely they have already heard the business side of things when it comes to these tournament fights and agreed though? but yeah, you just never know with them. I just thought it was a done thing seeing as Sr was at the event for it but now they're speaking like it's not a done deal.

Eubank needs to be in this tournament i think. If he beats Abraham and then pulls out of this, then he's just shooting himself in the foot. Nobody will be willing to work with them anymore because they're too big of a liability.

Eubanks has done little in that meager career. Eubie is not a tier fighter just a loud mouth who never ventures into the top ranks of opponents. Another Brit talking tough yet doing little to back it up.

Don't mistake Eubank sr the loudmouth for Eubank Jr,, the man is about to answer the World Boxing super series after he takes out Abraham, going head up against the most dangerous super middleweights in the world. If that ain't stepping up I don't know what is

About time Eubanks actually fights a live body. But short arm Arthur Arab Abraham is a shot average fighter who has done little but lose against all the top boxers short arm dinosaur Arab Abe has met. Eubie needs a signature win still to be considered even fair.

Maybe if the super middle tournament was actually stacked
