The quality of the cards has dropped, but hearn is all about making big events, maybe it's time to go back to the small hall cards.

And maybe its about axing gallagher, who needs 50 tune up fights and they still get battered at world level.

Everyone is probably trying to protect their 0 to get a big payday, that's the issue. They are mostly not good enough at world level anyway. And you have glorified sparring matches, like smith against midgets, just going through the gears. Or paul smith will have a world title shot off the back of f all and he's clearly shot to bits.

And I don't think jamie cox should be in a boxing ring after his flagrant head butting in one of his matches, yet hearns sucking him off.

He certainly does look like he might be better than Watt, Harrison, and Burns but a long way to go.

I don't think Burns-Crolla will be happening in Monte Carlo. Crolla will probably have a soft touch in Monte Carlo.
He is without doubt the most complete talented since Buchanan. However, there is a couple of gems in the Ams right now who have styles that will transition well to the pros when they turn over. Future looks bright for Scottish boxing.

Nice call mlac, I put a couple of quid on a Taylor KO on your recommendation. Cheers mate. I fancied Taylor to win but via decision. He made Davis look like a complete novice.

Is that Willie Hutchison you're referring to? I was very impressed by his gold medal win in the Youth World Championships

Really good action fight. Josh Taylor looked a class above but Davies was making it competitive landing clubbing shots of his own.

Davies was KD'd in the second/third at the end of the round, but came back well until he quit in the 7th after a much heavier KD.

Overall JT's was superior in pretty much every aspect of boxing, and his Am pedigree shined through.

Wow, impressive. I still have yet to see Taylor fight live, need to make sure I catch him in the near future
