I was wondering why Conor and UFC were making so much money. Floyd was adamant Conor shouldn't get too much money, but apparently Floyd backed down and while Conor won't be making anywhere as much as Floyd he is making a killing.

It makes sense. Floyd is going broke and has become desperate. Pathetic. There is no way he is not going bankrupt soon after fighting Conor.

People can say he's going broke or not and defend him either way but all I know is if Floyd was as disciplined with his money as he is with his training and his boxing career he'd have well over a billion dollars in net worth easily.

I don't care how many 10's or how many 100's of millions a person has, once you start having taxman problems it's never a good thing and it's a sign of a deep rooted problem that won't go away until you make serious changes in how you live and spend.

All I know is with how Floyd spends his money frivolously and gambles profusely along with tax problems he can't sustain his net worth unless he's bringing in the kind of money he brings in when he fights. In other words hes going to have to continue to fight or make major changes in his lifestyle in retirement. If not his bank account is going to get severely damanged and his age will be to the point where boxing isn't an option for money revenue anymore.

In 2009 he owed over $5m in back taxes, in 2011 over $3M...he has a history of IRS troubles. I'm fairly confident that he has enough of his money invested that he will never go truly broke. Broke my Mayweather standards is different than broke by ours. Maybe in the end his net worth is whittled down to $20-30M, but I don't think he will ever be flat broke eating dog food out of a can.

The thing about Mayweather and other athletes who blow through hundreds of millions, is that they have no intellectual curiosity. After a while they get bored with their money, they run out of creative ideas on how to live their life and enjoy it. After all of the cars, ***elry, **********s, strip clubs, mansions, and traveling, they get bored. Often times the biggest culprit is ********. It's the only thing that gives them a true high on their money, and as anyone can tell you, ******** always favors the house.
