No, Jacobs is too much for you right now. Smh. Take a tune up against a solid B- to C+ level fighter.

Even if it was a money grab, you tested yourself against one of the best, around your weight class.

You deserve a respecable can to KO, since you actually attempted to reach the top. After the easier fight, (and you have trained your a s s off the entire time), Go for the top again.

70 pounds in 7 months lol? Dayumm... If that's true, maybe Canelo's performance was not so impressive as it seemed... But wait didn't Chavez make 168 like 6 months before Canelo? So how did he have to lose 70 pounds if he already made 168?

Anyway Chavez should start living healthy, keeping his weight below 190, and fight an acclimating fight at 168 before fighting someone on Jacbos level. In fact Chavez might have been better off joining the tournament because Groves is chinny and he gasses when pressured, and Eubank is unproven at 168. Callum Smith is the only one who would for sure piece up Chavez, and that might not happen until the final.

This kid needs to go home, and stay there!
He can't fight or box to save his life and why any promoter would trust him to get into shape and THEN be willing to win is beyond me.
Who in their right mind backs this kid and what fan is dumb enough to believe this guy will give 100% at the bell?

jacobs? lol hes bigger and has more power than canelo. chavez gets stopped again.

last fight was such a **** show, chavez just ran all night and didnt throw any punches. I guess junior knows that he wont sell and get paid chit against an undersized C level opponent that he could actually beat. This is a cash grab, pure and simple, he knows he needs another name in order to sell and get paid. I hope this fight doesnt get made, chavez doesnt deserve it, he was a complete ***** last fight and basically stole the money of every person that paid to watch him run laps last fight.

IMO, he beat Canelo. It was a close fight but he edged it out by 1-2 rounds. He was the smartest fighter and was more efficient, most Canelos punches landed on his gloves.
