Watch the Saunders vs Blackwell fight. If Saunders fought Lemieux and Lemieux landed his left hook to Saunder's body even one-tenth the number of times that Blackwell did, Saunders would be hospitalized.

I think he will regret this decision. Beating Cotto gets him nowhere closer to a rematch with GGG. Winning a title from Saunders puts him closer to the top of the list. Can't imagine he is going to make that much more against Cotto.

I don't think Lemieux is ever getting a rematch with GGG and truth is based on how GGG talking win or lose he might be done fighting very soon. Already talking about retirement and moving up to 168. Come on Saunders isn't even a big draw over seas and is completely unknown to americans or Cotto who is a first ballot HOFer and been in numerous huge PPVs. Cotto is one of top draws in boxing over the last decade. The money isn't even close folks Saunders/Lemieux isn't even a PPV fight, Cotto/Lemieux would be. Lemieux wants to fight Cotto instead of Saunders for one reason...money.

Same reason GGG passed up a shot at the title with Saunders to fight Canelo instead. Don't know why people are shocked it's called prize fighting. 9 out of 10 these guys are all chasing the money over belts.

GGG/Lemieux did from 97K-150K depending on who you believe and he made 1.5m. You think Saunders can pay Lemieux more then 1.5m to fight in Europe? He will get a career payday fighting Cotto and if they do 200K that's more then GGG/Lemieux.

I don't particularly like the man but we're talking about boxing. People let their blind hatred for fighters personalities cloud their judgement.

Its the same with Fury. Then again the hate for Golovkin is immense on here and he seems like a nice enough guy. Billy Joe can make a statement with Monroe though. If he wins well, he's got to be taken seriously.
