So this is definitely going to be PPV for BN subscribers as well then

    Verdejo vs Flanagan
    Saunders vs Willie Monroe Jnr

leading into the early morning GGG vs Canelo card from the US.

That sucks. Not that it wouldn't be value compared to other PPVs we get, but you pay for a purely boxing based subscription channel you expect the content to be free from there out.

Verdejo better go in there knowing he is already 3 - 4 points under in the judges score cards... KO is the only way of securing a win in the opponents backyard... then again, had the fight been in Puerto Rico or New York... Verdejo would have gotten the same advantage... Cant remember the last time a non puerto rican was given a decision in Puerto rico... even when the local fighter is brutalized!!

Nice. This year is nuts with the solid fights. Boxing quit f#cking around in 2017 for real finally. Every month its solid fights between legit top ten guys.

As for as this fight idk which way to go, I'm not sold on Flanagan being all that great & I'm not sure Verdejo gots the desire &/or motivation to be among the tip top guys. Coin flip fight for me, but after it I think I'll have to have more confidence in whoever showed up or even potentially both guys if its a high level closely contested battle.

They don't match thier guys so hard in PR. They like to KO everybody and make the crowd happy. How do you KO everybody at home, like that Angel Acosta guy, 100% KOS, then leave home and lose? The home cooking is great in PR too.

Stop with this BS. Linares came to UK and got a decision vs Crolla in the first fight, which was close, and won widely in the second. Crawford, Zlaticanin and Indongo both beat Burns on his home turf. It's not all gift decisions to the home fighter in the UK, that's a misconception that's been misproved many, many times.

"Initially, there were some financial issues because Verdejo was only offered $175,000, while his team requested $450,000 to take the fight in the champion's backyard. A deal was reached between the parties that satisfied everyone."

What deal was reached that satisfied everyone???
