Comments Thread For: Loeffler on Securing StubHub For HBO Triple With AEG's Help

It was formally announced earlier today that the highly anticipated 'Super Fly' card, which is headlined by the rematch between WBC 115-pound champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai and challenger Roman 'Chocolatito' Gonzalez, will take place at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Rungvisai-Gonzalez and Pacquiao-Horn somewhat resemble each other. You had the obvious, more skilled favorite versus the heavier/stronger underdog. Cuts in both fights. Both were controversial decisions. One guy landed the cleaner more effective shots while the other was pressuring and mauling.

Both were great fights in my opinion.

Great analogy I said the same thing to my brother when we watched the fight live. The similarities of the two fights are eerily identical in regards to slow starts by the smaller guy and the bigger fighter wisely using his size and physicality to impose his will. Very controversial on both nights I had roman up 1 and the pacquaio fight I honestly was leaning towards the upset.

If you live in Souther California you better go to this one. This card is stacked and at the Stubhub.

The better card won the date. Who gives a *** of Leo vs Mares, they both duck Rigo at 122 and Lomachenko at 126.

This was clearly the better card makes sense to move the santa cruz fight. AEG owns both venue's and stepped in doing the right thing. Fans win don't have to choose and better card kept the date.
