Tabiti is a no name. Even Hardcore Cruiserweight & Heavyweight fans like me barely know him. They needed a name which is Mike Perez ! Also Mike Perez is signed with Eddie Hearn which means fight takes place on Sky Sports. Tabiti fights neither on HBO nor Showtime.

Hopefully someone like benavidez gets involved in the smw tournament to get more American viewers enticed. I know the semi finals and finals in both divisions are on the same night so they'll catch the cruisers too.

I've heard rumours he plans to pick Perez and if that's his plan thats very smart. If he wins this tournament he immediately becomes a very attractive opponent at heavyweight and even more so by getting exposure over here.

Usyk vs Perez is the more interesting fight. Usyk vs Huck is probably the easier fight if half the press & forum hype Perez has been getting turns out to be correct. I think you pick Huck for that reason.

Huck is still the better name to have on your resume to. Perez never made big waves at HW & is still of unknown value at 200 & a L likely doesn't help his overall value in the minds of fans.

Thing is I could see Huck being the #4 seed (#1 thru #3 seemed locked up) & thus not pickable & maybe thats why they are saying Huck or Perez.

I've heard benevidez has been lined up to fight dirrell so maybe he won't get away with the belt so easily! I think degale is injured so he won't participate. I'm hoping eubank jr enters so he can finally back up all that talk
