Comments Thread For: Josh Taylor Aims To Batter Ohara Davies, Shut His Mouth

JOSH TAYLOR compared Ohara Davies to an onion - but won't let his bitter rival leave him in tears. The Scottish light-welterweight, regarded as one of Britain's best prospects, takes on London-born Davies, another highly-touted fighter, in an intriguing clash at Glasgow's Braehead Arena on Saturday.

Shut his mouth? This is the most quiet and humble I've seen O'Hara. He's really gotten under Taylors skin. Really good 50/50 fight, I think Taylor nicks it.

Apparently this is a big fight according to my friends across the pond. Two young up and coming prospects, only one will lead the pack while the other will need to have a major comeback after the set back. Is there a way a limey like me can watch this?

LOL Taylor is following a script Ohara f#cked up for them at the presser. Its like the blueprint for how to respond in this fight got written a week before that initial presser & never altered with the audible (to not be all that audible) Ohara called.

Like Ohara here cuz Josh seems open to getting hit too flush at times & I think he's got the higher level pro experience which I think could play into who wins this fight, but its for sure a close fight so its for sure up for grabs. Fight of the weekend right here folks.
