The real question is kind what kind of money is ESPN gonna pay for fights. If espn pays less than hbo- who pays less than Showtime- than it is the end of Top Rank. Arum stuck with hbo, but hbo has been much tighter with money for boxing ever since Floyd left and they gave the boot to Haymon.
It seems that Arum stayed with hbo because they paid more than espn. That is rather common sense. Now hbo has straight said they will only spend so much for boxing in a year. Arum wants to have more fights than hbo is willing to pay for. So he had to go to espn. Hopefully this works out, but fighters have been leaving hbo for more money, so if TR fighters are going to be making less, it is going to be harder to keep Crawford and Lomachenko.
