real boxing fans wont pay to watch ward fight. and who can blame them? its going to be ugly, boring, lots of fouls and you know you are going to get a pantomime ending. How can it be considered 'sport' when only one guy is allowed to win? its basically scripted entertainment.
No thanks, I'll pass. Andre Ward assaulting your eyes while Max Kellerman assaults your ears has to be the worst one-two punch in all sports or entertainment. I'll pass on supporting blatant wide open corruption.
Hey didn't Bob Bennett of the Nevada State Athletic Commission say on live TV that if Rigondeaux's punch was after the bell, they would change it to a disqualification? Well Rigondeaux's punch was after the bell, but they still haven't disqualified him have they? And he's another Roc Nation boxer, just like Ward. Not that I wanted to see Rigo DQ'd, but I'm just saying, they only enforce the rules when it benefits the house promoter. Even when they've blatantly stated the rules on live TV, they still won't enforce them if it doesn't serve Roc Nation. I'm not supporting that crap anymore, and I suggest other real boxing fans don't support it either.Comment

Yes'sir, they do indeed suck. It's no wonder why the second Ward-Kovalev fight did worse than the first fight. I didn't think that was possible, but the second fight was significantly worse than the first fight. And RNS was the lead promoter for the second fight. SMHComment

agreed. No one wants to watch someone rewarded for cheating. It's like watching an old lady get mugged on teh street, and having to pay for the privilege of watching it as max kellerman jogs by and starts telling you that maybe you think it's wrong, but actually the tactics the mugger used, the clever way he came up behind the lady knowing she was deaf and couldn't hear his footsteps ("we know everything that goes on in her camp, including her hearing loss" - virgil hunter), deserves credit and epitomizes greatness that most people overlook because they don't appreciate the sweet muggence.

So what if he lost to the P4P #1
GGG would of got beat even worse.i would of bet at least $10k+++ on Ward against GGG. His team was smart turning down Ward.Comment

Not blockbuster numbers at the gate, but $3.4m and $2.2m (at actual Vegas PPV event prices) are good points to build from.
Golovkin has yet to have a single event where his attendance (actual gate receipts or the number of tickets actually sold) was confirmed by anyone not quoting directly from what Tom Loeffler has told them.
Andre Ward will continue to fight on, with the next fight heading to Vegas either being the Stevenson unification or the "real life Creed" fight with Tony Bellew; any other fight will likely be held at Oracle Arena or Barclays Center (even at 130k PPV, Roc Nation is basically at the point that they're making more money on PPV than what HBO could offer; a move to Showtime/CBS likely keeps Ward from forcing things to PPV).Comment
