Yea I was hoping they would have a bigger impact then they have ended up having. They signed some fighters that could garner some headlines, they got some good prospects that could turn into something. They had the tools, they just didn't really have the experience or blueprint to put their tools into action I think.

And yea it sounds like they could be closing up shop soon. Wouldn't be surprised if the Cotto fight is the end of the road or if some Ward vs Bellew fight is the end of the road if Ward still gots a fight with them.

The numbers must be right, I remember some reporters posting the empty seats on web, expressing their shock at it. Some 6000 of those seats were probably Kov fans LoL

          Truth

At least not a sold out arena / PPV caliber draw.. How he got Roc Nation to guarantee him 6.5 million I'll never know

Those gate receipts generated $2.187 million in revenue, far less than the ticket sales from their first fight produced. That bout, which Ward narrowly won by unanimous decision November 19 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, produced $3.341 million in ticket revenue.

Kinda expected the rematch to do a bit worse, is this normal for rematches in general or nah?

Andre Ward got a great deal with Roc Nation though, 6M guaranteed is great (for Ward, not so much for RN)
