For a while there in 2015 and 2016 I thought they were going to do well and thought they were doing well. But those contracts and their promoting inexperience. I wonder if Ward is going to jump ship next.

It's a shame really. Ward is a lot more entertaining at 175 than he was at 168. He is just not a draw. He's not hood enough for the casual black fan base.

That's expected. Especially when Kovalev kept missing media interviews leading up to the fight. Had a chance to promote this in front of millions of people on the Canelo-Chavez Jr PPV and he didn't show up. And he skipped several media interviews in the week of the fight. For a guy whose purse relied on the gate and PPV sales he sure didn't try to sell the fight.
