  • Comments Thread For: Dmitry Kudryashov Joins World Boxing Super Series

The World Boxing Super Series is delighted to present the seventh of eight participants in the cruiserweight division. Dmitry Kudryashov has joined a star-studded tournament line-up that features the four reigning world champions Oleksandr Usyk (WBO), Mairis Briedis (WBC), Murat Gassiev (IBF) and Yunier Dorticos (WBO) as well as former champions Marco Huck and Krzysztof Wlodarczyk. The Russian Hammer (21-1, 21 KOs) enters the Muhammad Ali Trophy with a fearsome KO ratio of 94 %, with all of his 21 victories coming by the way of knockout.

Hell yeah. Kudryashovs boxing ability may leave a lot to be desired but his power is something else. A great addition to the tournament for my money.

So - only one place left to be confirmed - best I can tell it's looking to be either Perez or Glowacki... I've gotta say I'm hoping it's the Pole simply because of the Irish-Cubans lack of credentials at 200Lbs. With Glowacki in that'd make 7 of the 8 top ten fighters with Lebedev the only meaningful name missing (now that Bellew's headed North). Hell, take Bellew out of the equation and there's even a case for Kudryashov to slot in at the bottom of the top 10.

This is the kind of **** boxing needs in every division.

The weakest fighter of the 7 if you ask me. But he's fun to watch so whatever.

One spot left to fill, hopefully it's gonna be Glowacki.

I hope the last spot will be filled with Perez or Tabiti.

Glowaski was already schooled by Usyk.

Tabiti would be good simply to give the yanks someone to root for - it's about time the US produced someone decent to generate some interest and fill the gap left by USS. I actually think Hunter may be the better fighter, but he also has the L to Usyk and doesn't have the good wins of Glowacki. I like Perez too, although it's still unclear if he'll ever be the same after the Mago incident. Problem is neither Perez nor Tabiti have anything like the track record of the other guys in the tourney. And for all that I think Perez is a skilled fighter, he only has 1 fight at Cruiser - and that was against a virtual novice.

Fooking nice. This guy is probably gonna be the least talented guy in the tournament, but his power is ******ed so he can still beat anyone in this tournament. This tournament is crazy.

The best boxing tournament ever. Glowacki will fill the last spot. Only Top 10 fighters in this tournament : 4 undefeated champions, 3 former champions and Kudryashov. Just WOW !
