Diego Corrales has warned boxing fans planning on going to the already announced Miguel Cotto v Jose Luis Castillo fight not to reserve hotels rooms or plane tickets unless they want to waste their money. Corrales fights Castillo is a hotly anticipated rubber match this Saturday in Las Vegas, but Castillo's promoter Bob Arum has already announced that Castillo will go on to fight WBO 140lbs king Cotto on November 11 in New York.
Arum has booked Madison Square Garden and is all set the formally announce the fight just as soon as Castillo repeats his October KO of Corrales this weekend.
However, Corrales told SecondsOut: "Please tell the fans not to waste their money on hotels, plane tickets or train tickets. That fight is not happening in November. I'm going to knock Castillo out again and I'll ruin any plans he has beyond Saturday night.
"I just laugh at them looking past me," Corrales added. "It doesn't bother me one bit but I wonder what they are thinking. If Castillo is really looking past me, well, I just hope he's fully concentrated on me (this Saturday)..."
