Arum has more confidence that Horn & Conlan will become stars over Crawford Stevenson

He passed the torch to Horn instead of Crawford. And he's taking Horn to the ESPY's instead of Crawford who has an upcoming fight on ESPN.

Conlan has fought 3 times on TV. Headlined his own show & fought on Pacquiao's ESPN undercard. Stevenson has had 2 fights. One on a low selling Top Rank PPV and on the untelevised undercard of Crawford-Diaz right across the bridge from his hometown. Stevenson is scheduled to fight on Crawford's next card but I don't know if it'll be televised

Floyd said Arum doesn't know how to promote black fighters, that's why he left. Considering the heights he reached after leaving Top Rank, Floyd was correct.

        Yeah of course

Horn now has a country behind him and some name recognition in the states
Conlon has a loyal country behind. Both will buy their PPVs and pack crowds in their countries

Half the battles done if they cross over to America it's a wrap. If they don't get their domestic $$ Top Rank is still sitting pretty.

Stevenson doesn't have that name recognition anywhere and Crawford is doing a great job in Omaha but besides that isn't really bringing that crossover appeal yet. He's still like a 40-60k PPV guy

Don't worry, Arum will make Crawford vs Horn eventually, probably soon, especially if Pac foregoes a rematch. That would pretty much end Horn's party. But let's face it, great win for Horn and he deserves some limelight. Also, that was not the plan, for Horn to win.

It was more of an easy touch for Pac. You didn't see the predictions from Team Pac? It was just another day, another cherrypick gone wrong. I don't blame him though, he's 38, why would he fight a killer like Crawford? No need to embarrass a legend.

Besides Mayweather is fighting freaking McGregor, Cotto is fighting Kamegai, JMM hasn't fought in a decade. None of the HOF bound fighters are fighting any top boxers.

Did you see the arena at Conlan's last show in Chicago? The lower bowl was half empty. Stevenson can do more than that in New Jersey.

Horn was fighting on undercards before Manny. Manny sold that show.

Until Jeff Horn starts making more money than Crawford I don't see a problem. Crawford is a star and doesn't need Arum to be his date to the ESPYS or to be recognized there.
