People Need To Stop Comparing Usyk To Lomachenko!!!!

Why does everyone compare them?? Is it cause there both Ukrainian??? Lomachenko hasn't lost a round since the Salido fight, and completely toyed with top 25 P4P fighters Walters and Russel Jr, what has Usyk done to make him on the level of Lomachenko??? Usyk was struggling with Hunter in his last fight, I've never heard of him prior to the Usyk fight, Lomachenko made a fellow world champion look like a 9 year old kid, Sosa just couldn't do anything, it was pretty sad to watch, how can it be a mistmatch against a top 10 opponent, please people stop comparing the two, Lomachenko is just on another level, guys like Rigondeaux and Crawford are on the same level as Lomachenko but def not Usyk

They're grouped together because they were both trained by Lomachenko Sr to great success in the amateurs. Naturally Lomachenko is better because he was moulded into the perfect fighter by his father since he was born, whereas Sr only got his hands on Usyk once he was already grown - plus the style is simply much harder to pull off for a cruiserweight than a featherweight

Usyk's style is somewhat more traditional or basic, plus he is generally rangier than his opponents whereas Loma isn't, but there are definitely certain moves that they share

I kinda disagree with you. Lomachenko, being the much smaller of the two, will obviously win more style points due to speed and movement, however, if you go back to the Glowacki figh, that's where the comparisons came from. Usyk boxed and toyed with Glowacki and kept his head spinning. There were a lot of similarities based on that fight.

But yeah, he did kind of struggle with a couple of lesser fighters recently.

What kind of ****** thread is that? Usyk is a crusierweight, why should he even be as skilled as fighters from lower divisions?
