  • In Haye - Bellew, wasn't Haye injured before the fight?

    Watch extremely deluded Bellew here:

i remember post fight Adam Booth, you know, the guy who trained Haye from the beginning for 10 years + , said how he could tell Haye was injured from the start as he wasnt moving like he normally does

+ the rumours before he fight circulating that haye had an achilles injury and went for surgery abroad

YET, he seems to genuinely think he fought a 100% healthy Haye for he 1st 6 rounds!

its a no brainer he went into the fight wth an injury

BUT Bellew seems to genuinely think he fought a 100% healthy Haye for 6 rounds and that he could handle Haye's biggest shots (not realising it was not his best as he was injured)

IF Haye gets back to 75%+ in the rematch, i see Bellew KTFO within 3 rounds

+ in he interview he goes on about being able o beat Ward and become p4p no.1

Surely he can't be this deluded !!!!!! he ONLY won against Haye because he was injured!! its soooo obvious!

i use to like bellew but this win has gone to his head and he HONESTLY thinks it was a healthy Haye for 5 rounds!!
since the win its almost like he is joking when he talks like this, as his statements are sooo ridiculous but i think he really does think this highly of himself now

Yes it was widely reported Haye went to see a doctor about an Achilles problem before the fight.

I believe it was on the Wednesday on fight week that Haye went to a specialist in Germany to examine his Achilles. When questioned on it Haye was claiming it was just a routine check up, but it's obvious after watching the fight that he was injured.

To be fair to Bellew and his camp, they were the ones saying from the start that Haye's body was going to break down which is what happened.

Yeah he definitely had an issue going in to the fight and then during that 6th round it obviously went completely.

On Soccer AM a week before the fight he was limping on his right leg after the basic kick of a ball. There was a tweet of this clip but it got deleted.

I assume he went ahead with the fight because of the media backlash of another pullout so close to the fight and the fact he probably thought Bellew was a 2 round job even at 60%.

This. Haye must have figured all he had to do was hit Belle once and it was curtains, in fairness Bellew stayed on his bike they first four rounds and Haye obviously never countered on that, chasing him around the ring clearly played into Bellew's hands. Though it was pretty pathetic he couldn't budge him out the ring even on one leg.

Yes and did everyone notice Haye legitimately dropping Bellew, but the ref ignored it and said no kd . 3;46 into the video:

and he had just done his achilles in, think what he will do to bellew at full health (if he ever gets back to 100% again)

He said "he took the best he had"....how did he take his best when he got injured early in the fight? Come on
