    Horn can be marketed as the "Great white hope"

    Did half the work Pacquiao did and got a gift win but he will sell tickets!

    Looks like Arum wins again!

      The sport itself is inherently appealing, the only things that turn people away are the poor promotion and bad officiating

            What Pacquiao showed and by extension, the entire sport, is that personalities sell. Pacquiao is still one of the biggest sporting icons on the planet and the fact he can sell out a stadium, in Australia, against an Australian and tsill get mroe fans is remarkable. That remarkable story becomes outright spell binding when you realise that Pacquiao drew that audience, both live and globally via TV, against an absolute, complete unknown. most boxing fans had never seen Horn compete, let alone casual sports fans.

            Outside of the Philipino there is Mayweather, however his ability to sell out, on foreign soil, against an almost nobody has never been tested and it is something he is probably unlike to ever try. With that said, these two personalities aside, boxing does not have a draw who can even come close to that. AJ might one day rise up to their level, maybe he will surpass them BUT as of now, his audience is limited.

            New stars are being made but a global superstar is still a long, long way away. It's why we are only now starting to understand the value of someone like Manny Pacquiao.

              Pacquiao seems to be the main ingredient to this success.

              Pacquiao = global Icon

                Boxing has always needed someone like that.

                AJ is likely the next one.

                  7 million viewers for a boxing match. Well I'll be damned. An old timer like Pacquiao can still command crazy numbers.

                      Free ESPN fight that no PPV or cable wanted for Horny/Paq

                      Thurman and Spence are laughing outloud at Horny nothing
                      Horn is a joke and all top welters are laughing at Horny nothing the white wimp of aussie land. What a sham fraud fake win over Paq. The Horn decision stinks more than an aborigine dump roasting in 120 degree sun.
