Sam Soliman found a way to swell his face up in a close fight.

I say Mayweather, Hopkins, Winky: in that order.

Mayweather hardly ever losses a round. (I know the Castillo fight) But seriously he outworks his opponents and hardly ever gets hit flush.

Hopkins, Taylor could not use his jab to its full potential like he did against other fighters. He is great defensively even though sometimes lacks offense.

Winky, made the Tito fight look so easy you would think he was fighting an amatuer. He gets hit alot though cuz he doesn't move his head much and some punches get through his (stay in front of you) defense.

I dont think Solimon won but his style is tough to block or IMO even to roll away from, he threw a ridiculous amount of punches from all angles. Hopkins is real hard to hit, In the first fight with Taylor when he would throw combo I dont remember him hitting B-Hop cleanly at all. Same for Toney, he makes sure that all the blows are glancing and not really landing. Mayweather began as a defensive fighter, then evolved into a more offensive fighter without losing any defensive skills. My choice remains Toney though.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has remarkable defense.

Sometimes he gets tagged, when he starts brawling as opposed to boxing, like in the corley fight.

And I agree, when Floyd is leaning on the ropes, that's just pretty to watch.

Used to be Roy Jones for sure! I think he should go down as having one of the best defences in history

Luis collazo did a good job with ricky hatton.
ricky hatton is a guy that punished a lot of fighters in the past, he didn't do much to hurt or connect against collazo.
collazo was rolling with the punches and never really got hit flush with a shot.
he should be up there with his defense. being a southpaw helps him out also.
