this is nothing new. been going on for decades. fighters are warned/taught to not try to leave top rank because this is what happens if you try.

fighters have admitted publicly before that arum has told them he has WBO judges in his back pocket and can control the outcome.

    pay attention.
    Is anyone on this?

Be interested if someone could do something empirical over a decade or so.

And, right on cue, here's Flappy Bob angling for that rematch I told you about.

A few days ago, when Manny Pacquiao arrived back home to the Philippines, the eight division world champion informed numerous Filipino scribes that last weekend's fight against Jeff Horn was "his last fight" under his promotional agreement with Top Rank. Not so, says Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum.

What is also interesting is the assertion that not only is Manny still under contract but that it doesn't expire until the middle of next year.

I seem to remember that the extension he signed in 2014 meant 5 more fights- one to honor the last fight of the old contract and 4 more under the extension, which was only supposed to run thru the end of 2016.

But here we are in 2017, the 5 fights have happened yet Arum is saying he still under contract thru next summer?

And Bob wonders why fighters continue to try to get away from him...
