Thought he looked a bit shallow against Floyd. Might have been because of Floyd. Still I was impressed. Weirdly enough.

The last time Manny Pacquiao looked great was against Oscar de la Hoya. The last time I was impressed by him was against Miguel Cotto.

Pacquiao has been sleepwalking through his fights since in Marquez 3. He had a little fire in him in for Marquez 4 but it was his lack of concentration that caused the vicious KO. Against Algieri he looked ok but he was fighting the perfect opponent to look good. I'm not sure what version of Pacquiao that was last night.

The version that didn't care anymore. I know he is a humble guy, but he took that a little too well.

Margarito took Pacs legs away, after that brutal beating Pac was never as quick or light on his feet again, and it showed in the Mosley fight.

Pacs legs were gone his legs were his main weapon they set up his shots on the inside.

Pac is now fighting on guts only now, he is getting hit hard and roughed up but just willing himself through but he no longer ambushes, Teddy Atlas said it last night the old Manny used to hit you again before you reset now this Manny who is flat footed is trying to load up and hit you one at a time, Manny in his prime was awesome he would blitz you with a 4 punch arm combo get tot he side before you could reset hit you with a heavy shot or another combo and than pop you again he was like a tasmanian devil.
Hmmm margarito? i am intrigued. I always felt that despite his win it was really hard on his body to take Tonys shots. He bend down in pain a couple of times and looked beat up afterwards

Why do you think he took his legs that night?

Around 2009-10 before marquez knocked him out cold. He got careful after that and wasnt as reckless and aggressive anymore which made him good. Non faithful beer drinking manny was a beast.

Pacquiao beat Margarito but he had to go through hell to do it, this how tough Manny is but nobody wants to recognize it, he was outsized and they only remember Pacquiao damaging Margaritos eyes, but the pressure Margo applied was similar to what he applied to Cotto and made cotto quit, only difference is Manny dug deep and fought back here is a highlight it was back and forth.

That body attack, Margarito was able to unload a lot of body shots, and the turning point was the round when Pacquiao got tied up in the ropes he got stuck and Margarito hit him really clean on the sweet spot Pacquaio tried to move was still stuck and hit again in the same exact spot and refused to take a knee and was in serious pain

I wouldn't be surprised if he had internal bleeding, I remember he was supposed to go to the George Lopez show the next day but he couldnt get out of bed he was curled up in afetal position and in pain for a few days.

After the fight Pacman was walking in pain to the presser, he also said he will never fight past 150 again because he felt the size, Margarito was huge he went all the way to 170 pounds on fight night, he was 168 in the morning of the fight so he probably put on an extra few pounds right before entering the ring.

Horn came in huge for this fight with Manny too, he ws a big dude and it showed. Pacquiao is a small guy, and small guys need their legs for movement to avoid and counter as you could see Pac could no longer slide and glide in the ring like he used too.

Margarito is the one who took that from Pac. Watch Pacs fight with Mosley right after, Pacs legs were gone, he was just following Mosley around.

                  The margarito fight .

Both fights vs marquez at 147 he looked
Like he lost a step. Then when he got iced by marquez that was it, the dog in him went away,
He was never the same mentally . He lost a piece of himself physically vs margarito before that .

He showed the dog in this horn fight he wasnt scared to trade blows this time, he had to fight for his life with this dude using rough dirty tactics.

Horn did the right plan rough up the smaller older man and it worked.

Man this scrap was good, great for boxing but ****** people mad at the decision dude it was a good scrap
