Anyone talking about boxing to other people is good for boxing. And the more people the better so yea I assume Smith to have a bigger fan base than Max so by that criteria he's "better for boxing". That said he's still a f#cking dummy.

As of now I'm happy he's bringing casuals to the sport
Hell yeah, I enjoyed that telecast, ESPN put on a top class production, Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless are the best at bringing int he casual, Smith is an animated character and his rants are funny casuals love that ****

Also Teddy Atlas tirades and rants are trending all over Twitter

I cant wait for the Loma and Crawford bouts man, ESPN needs to have a 24/7 type show now to help build up the big fights.

Stephen A is a casual but his rants are hillarious to me. Max has taught him a little about boxing though while being on the show. Skip on the other hand is an idiot who thinks conor is going to beat floyd.

But make no mistake, Max Kellerman KNOWS HIS BOXING, his Knowledge on the sport is 100% LEGIT! I seen guys on youtube talk **** about Max but then when they interview him face to face he literally wiped his a$$ with them in debates because Max Knowledge is A1! Just because you disagree with someone doesn't mean you know more!
That card Roy and Max did without Jim was good. Maybe that's my problem with him. That there man booth has to go

He doesn't understand that you take the point from Horn, not give it to Pacquiao, lol.

he's definitely a character though and that's always good in Boxing, it gets people watching/talking.

Other than stuff like that I like all the other stuff. But they need to make sure he is thorougly educated on the sport.
He messed up his Vargad-Pacquiao card because he forgot to score the KD. Bradley said how do you have that score if Pacquiao scored a KD and Smith had to correct it. Stuff like that is hilarious to me

They're both pretty awful to be honest, the thing I notice is they both seem to want to always say either very strong or off the wall stuff which I doubt they really believe half the time. Anyone who has watched First Take will agree with me that SAS is more of an "entertainer" than a reporter, his debates and what he says is good to laugh at, but that's about it. Max actually knows quite a bit about boxing but he always seems to give corporate opinions on TV rather than saying what he really thinks. For example when they had Floyd on first take he's praising him then when he's not there he's going off about how Pacquiao would KO him in a rematch. I stopped taking guys like them seriously a long time ago to be honest. They're basically cheerleaders rooting for their guys, just like Lampley & Skip Bayless.

Stephen A is a funny dude, a character and I like his passion but he's still not better for boxing than Max. I don't always agree with Max but he does know the sport of boxing.
