      Yeah,

The first version of Lennox would have given him ten times as much trouble as the one that beat him did.

Even if Tyson was using his prime defensive head movement, and throwing fast lead left hooks....he'd still lose the fight. Lewis was ****ing fast when he was young...and he'd circle his opponents and throw good shots to the body.

That's why I've always said Lewis' best punch was his right cross to the body, and I think he'd break Tyson down even worse than he did at their old ages.

He's just way too long and strong for him man.....Tyson is not that big of a guy, and Lewis knows how to use his size.

        What's the problem here?

Lewis would beat Tyson 19/20 times. He's tall. He's got a good jab. He's strong. And he's not afraid. Tyson can only beat people who are afraid of him. Buster Douglas? That was his prime - no excuses, please. And Lewis can beat Buster Douglas pretty bad.
There are different ring ages. As pressure swarmer who is smaller than his opposition like Tyson has a shorter ring life than a big boxer who can use a Jab and 1-2 guys to death. Marciano and Frazier are 2 examples of swarmers. Joe Frazier was already past his prime and not nearly as effective when he was 30-32 years old the same with Marciano who retired at 31. Hatton is similar also and knows that his style of fighting will only allow him to fight at a high level till he is about 30. Emmanuel stewart agreed with this also.

So to say that Tyson was "older" in terms of ring age is appropriate.

With all that being said I would say that a prime Tyson would KO Lennox early or if fight went past 6 Lennox by decision. One thing is that Tyson was never able to really show late round KO power.

lewis would have beaten him unless tyson got a good punch or two in the first round, it only took lewis two rounds to get tysons number and easily beat him a tyson of 10 years earlier wouldn't have been that much more diffcicult

Styles make fights, Lewis towers over Tyson. If Lewis isnt lazy and keeps his distance he wont have a lot of problems with Tyson. It would be closer, but probably the same outcome.

I don't know for sure because I could see Lewis using his jab and size to win, but I could also see the prime Tyson getting a KO on Lewis. I'm not sure that Lewis would be as confident to win that fight back then, I wish Lewis had fought Bowe, and Tyson when he was in his prime he could have made his legacy even better even though it's good already.
