should andre ward join the WBSS?

ward is looking to move up in weight, with a rumoured fight against tony bellew in the works. Why dont the two join the WBSS and they can fight in the first round? This could be wards final set of fights before retirement.

Nah. He's earned his stripes & gets paid better then these guys are getting paid. If he moves up he should fight Bellew or something & then fight the winner of this tournament next year.

What many people are ignoring with this tournament is that anyone who's making $10M+ for 3 fights shouldn't be in this tournament. Ward made about $10M+ for his last 2 fights. Its ****** to get paid less to fight bigger guys. Canelo, Ward, Manny, Joshua or any of these guys who are making big money shouldn't be in this tournament unless the pool of money gets increased at some future date.

I think it's all booked up now anyway isn't it? At best there's only one place left in the CW tourney now that Usyk signed up.

He definitely should. So that Ward haters can say he cheated in the Super Six and WBSS!

I was thinking about this earlier and as a fan I'd love to see this also if he were to win it he would solidify himself as an atg in my opinion but financially it wouldn't make sense for him.

Personally, I don't even think he should move to cruiserweight, although he's probably only going to fight Bellew, which is do-able for a boxer of his calibre.

He should stay away from the real beasts in that division. I imagine he fights Tony Bellew, and maybe lands a fight at heavyweight against someone but I really can't think who he could beat that high up that's worth the money (AJ, Wilder, Ortiz, Fury, etc.)...

It would be a great story if he could win both the s6 and wbss. However its not gonna happen, as there is no way in hell they will let Ward get homefield in every fight as they ******ly did in the s6. No homefield = No Andre Ward. Simple as that.
