The only live body he ever fought (live not healthy), went 12 rounds with him.

AJ, Wlad, Foreman, Liston and Cleveland Williams all hit at least as hard for one big punch. On a pound for pound scale too many boxers to list have more punching power for one punch. Hearns's straight right, Pacquiao's straight left, Marquez's straight right, Duran's straight right, Bob Foster's straight right and left hook are all harder PFP than Wilder's powerful straight right. Julian Jackson hit harder PFP with either hand. The low quality of Wilder's opponents make him seem like a bigger puncher than he is.

Foreman and Shavers as mentioned first to come to mind. Patterson could crack for a guy his size and Louis.

I won't say they hit harder, but they have all knocked guys out with one shot

                  C'mon, fellas.

Jackson and Hearns are legendary punchers. I have had sigs of both with their fight ending shots.

But we are talking HW's here.

I'd will say that if Wilder touches you on the chin with one of those rights you don't see coming, I think it's over for just about any of the current crop of HW contenders/belt holders. (My opinion).

                  He can crack.

                  Most powerful in history?

                  Probably not.
