    What a total massacre that would be if they actually signed this fight. Barrett can take a punch yes, but he's the slick version of a heavyweight Gatti and if Peter lands...he's going to land flush. All I can say is that's a highlight reel knockout waiting to happen, and it'll be brutal.

        Has this been signed or is this actually being pursued?

        If so, smart move for Peter's people. Barrett's got enough of a rep that a win would be impressive, a big win, even moreso.....and Barrett does offer some threat; but not enough to worry about. Think about it. If Peter kayo's Barrett, who went the distance with Rahman....
